The MAUSER 25 was presented as a top new introduction on January 28, 2025, at the Hunting and Dog Show in Dortmund. As the first straight-pull repeater from Mauser, the MAUSER 25 comes in three stock variations, including a wooden hole stock with an adjustable cheek piece, a classic wooden stock model, and a version with a polymer stock! Whichever you choose, all feature a buttery smooth straight-pull bolt, M15x1 muzzle thread, a continuously adjustable trigger from 700g to 1700g, and the option to accommodate one of the brand new Mauser mounts!

Its unique cycling process makes the new MAUSER 25 fast and extremely smooth. MAUSER thus defines a completely new class for the true MAUSER straight-pull experience. Without compromise.

The bolt closes lightning fast and smoothly, locking securely twice at 125 degrees (a total of 250 degrees) thanks to the new “MAUSER-Spread-Lock-250” (bolt with two support flaps) with a contact area of 66 mm² in the locking socket. Maximum safety is thus combined with top repeater performance.

For comparison: The MAUSER 98 system, known as an untouchable synonym for absolute safety, already covers 59 mm².

ABSOLUTELY INTUITIVE. UNCOMPROMISINGLY RELIABLE.
The straight chamber handle is ergonomically optimized and positioned above the trigger for the fastest cycling without frills. The two-position safety acts directly on the firing pin and is easily felt between the stock neck and the bolt. Built for intuitive and quiet operation. The transport safety is released with a thumb press – allowing the chamber to be opened even in the secured state – for example, for unloading. The direct trigger is infinitely adjustable between 700 and 1,700 grams of pull weight, featuring an excellent dry characteristic.

The indestructible single-row polymer magazine holds 3+1 cartridges. Additionally, 5+1 magazines are available as accessories at launch.

With the new MAUSER “Single-Base-Mount,” hunters have both fixed mounts for scopes with VM or SR rails available, which impress with their low height while maintaining absolute strength. For those who wish to change their scope on the MAUSER 25, a Picatinny rail or a Blaser saddle mount adapter is also available.

The standard 51 cm long and 17 mm thick precision barrel made of cold-forged special steel features the new and absolutely durable as well as rust-resistant plasma oxide coating. This is produced using the three “forces of nature” heat, water, and nitrogen and requires no additional chemicals.

The new MAUSER 25 consistently puts its functions in the foreground and is the straight-pull repeater rifle for those who prefer an unconditionally reliable tool over a status symbol.

From the Pure model variant with its Classic-Sporter walnut stock to the MAUSER 25 Extreme with a durable polymer stock, and the Max variant with an ergonomic laminated hole stock: All three variants share one thing in common – they stand for unconditional MAUSER quality, precision, and an absolutely fluid and fast straight-pull bolt that is unmatched in this price range. All three variants are also available as left-hand versions at no extra cost!

The laminated hole stock, already popular with the MAUSER 12 and MAUSER 18, is of course also available with the MAUSER 25. Highest stability combined with ergonomic hand positioning characterizes the stock of the MAUSER 25 Max. The specially treated beech laminated stock guarantees maximum stability and warping resistance even under the harshest weather conditions.
