Sauer 505 Synchro XTC Silence

The Sauer 505 bolt-action rifle in the Synchro XTC Silence version protects your hearing and that of your dog.With the Synchro XTC Silence version of the Sauer 505 bolt-action rifle, hunters receive an ergonomically comfortable and robust hunting rifle in a modern elegant design, where the barrel is equipped with an integral silencer. The "C" in "XTC" stands for the lightweight and robust carbon stock.

The Stock
The carbon stock gives your Sauer 505 rifle high stability and excellent ergonomics, ensuring extremely comfortable mounting, aiming, and shooting in every shooting position. The steep grip and the handball shape, combined with the height-adjustable stock comb, provide optimal contact with any optical system you use. The stock length is 36.5 mm. Carbon is very lightweight yet robust, but its most important feature is its damping property, which maximally compensates for recoil. With the Sauer 505 Synchro XTC Silence rifle, the shooting hand remains completely relaxed, significantly increasing the hit rate.

The System
The system of the Sauer 505 rifle consists of a solid steel housing and a one-piece bolt – optionally for mini, standard, or magnum calibers – which is also made of steel and crafted from a single piece. Steel has a significant advantage over aluminum in that it has much lower friction losses. Therefore, with the Sauer 505 system, you have a super smooth chambering and quiet cycling. The surfaces of the housing are coated with a DLC coating. DLC stands for "Diamond-like carbon." This type of coating is very environmentally friendly and biocompatible compared to galvanic coatings. Through a thin-film coating process, the coated components become particularly resistant and very smooth.

The Hand Tension
The hand tension has been further developed by Sauer compared to previous models. It is now even easier to operate and makes your Sauer 505 hunting rifle even safer. With a light thumb pressure, the rifle can be cocked immediately before the shot, and it is just as easy to release to unload.

The Trigger
The Quattro trigger with four weight settings always provides a dry pull that is perfectly suited to you. You can individually adjust it to 350, 750, 1,000, and 1,250 g as needed. The adjustment is easily made with the front stock pulled back using the Sauer universal key.

The Magazine
The polymer magazine is designed for the selected calibers and holds 2 or 3 cartridges. An unintentional release of the magazine button is prevented by the integrated magazine safety MagLock.

The Barrel
The barrel of the Silence version is designed to be used with the Sauer integral silencer. It has a hardened outer jacket that is 0.1 mm thick and a soft steel core inside. This allows it to vibrate optimally and enables precise shots. Depending on the caliber, it has a length of 42 or 47 cm in this version. The barrel has an M15x1 muzzle thread onto which the integral silencer is screwed.

The Integral Silencer
The integral silencer is made of titanium. This material is lighter than steel and offers better corrosion protection. On the outside, it has a Nitrobond X coating. The weight of the integral silencer is distributed over the entire barrel length. This ensures that the vibration behavior and balance of the rifle are not affected. It is screwed onto the muzzle thread. Thus, you have no disturbing object at the muzzle that obstructs your field of view or hinders your mobility by getting caught. Depending on the caliber used, it has a damping performance of up to 28 dB and a length of 42 or 47 cm.
