This eliminates motion blur, the effects of trembling hands in winter and after strenuous efforts, as well as shaking on vehicles, keeping the image steady despite external movement. A steady image reduces eye strain and makes usage comfortable. In addition to this feature, the Oryx XG35 LRF offers further characteristics that may make it your instrument of choice, such as the 8x digital zoom with a magnification range of 2.5-20x.The SensorThe Oryx XG35 LRF monocular has a sensitive VOx thermal imaging sensor with high thermal differentiation capability. Its resolution is 640x480 px with a pixel pitch of 12 µm and a NETD value of ≤40 mK. The detection range is 1,800 m. The 35 mm lens provides a large field of view of 12.5°×9.4°, allowing you to maintain an overview and facilitating the scanning for thermally radiating objects. This way, you can keep an eye on all animals, identify them, and then focus on those that have caught your interest.The DisplayThe image processing algorithms developed by Pulsar itself convert the received data into sharp, detailed, and high-contrast images. The 1024x768 px AMOLED display features a helpful picture-in-picture (PiP) function that shows a zoomed-in image of the observation object in a frame in the upper display area when needed. You can enhance the sensitivity of thermal detection in three levels to differentiate the object and background even more clearly. Additionally, the automatic brightness control optimizes the visibility of objects and reduces eye fatigue. Depending on individual needs and environmental situations, you can choose from 9 color palettes to adjust the image:Hot White, Hot Black, and Hot Red are optimal for object detection,Rainbow and Ultramarine for identification,as well as Red Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet for nighttime long-term observations.A new green color palette has been added.The Integrated Laser RangefinderThe Oryx XG35 features a powerful laser rangefinder with a range of 1,500 m, even in complete darkness. You can measure the distance in two modes, either in scan mode with continuous scanning or with precise point measurement. The measurements can be displayed in meters and yards.Ease of UseThe one-handed operable Oryx XG35 LRF also shines with its tactile qualities. It fits well in the hand, which does not cramp even during prolonged use. Its symmetrical design with the arrangement of buttons on the top makes it perfectly operable with both hands. You can activate a haptic feedback function, and the device responds with short vibrations when pressing the control buttons.The DeviceDifficult environmental conditions are not an issue for the Oryx XG35 LRF. The housing is made of a magnesium alloy, protecting the sensitive interior from impacts, falls, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Additionally, the metal dissipates heat from the electronics, contributing to improved image quality. The device is waterproof according to IP67 and can withstand up to 30 minutes in 1 m of water. It is completely protected against dust and particles larger than 1 mm.Long Operating TimeThe Oryx XG35 LRF thermal imaging device is equipped with a dual battery system that provides up to 12 hours of operating time, depending on the features used: a built-in battery and a removable external battery. Both batteries have their own charge indicators displayed on the screen. The external battery can be swapped out quickly and seamlessly during use. Charging occurs in the device via USB Type-C cable. This allows you to also power the instrument continuously via an external power source, for example, during stationary use. A distance sensor automatically turns off the display when the device is moved away from the eyes. This saves energy, and you remain invisible while observing.Camera and ConnectivityWith the integrated camera, you can document your observations and the tracking of wildlife as photos and videos. The internal 64 GB memory holds a significant amount of data. Using the Stream Vision 2 app – available for iOS and Android – you can connect the thermal imaging device to your smartphone via the integrated Wi-Fi module. This way, you also receive the latest software updates. Images and videos are transmitted in real-time to the monitors of mobile devices.
