The Holosun AEMS-RD features, among other things, the familiar multi-reticle system (2MOA/65MOA red dot) with solar failsafe and shake awake technology. The housing is made of 7075 aluminum and is black anodized for long durability.
This Holosun AEMS combines a large field of view in a compact, lightweight package. AEMS has a double glass surface and is 11% shorter than standard 20 mm micro sights, weighing only 110.5g.
The optic features a built-in supercapacitor. This additional power source allows the red dot sight to operate without a solar cell/light or battery and provides an additional iron reserve of approximately 200 hours of illumination in dot mode (level 6).
The AEMS is equipped with Holosun innovations such as solar failsafe, shake awake, multi-reticle (2MOA dot; 2MOA/65MOA circle dot; 65MOA ring) and up to 50,000 hours of battery life. AEMS features a 7075 aluminum housing with removable, clear, flip-up lens covers. The included lower 1/3 co-witness mount is removable and offers adaptability across multiple firearm platforms.
