The thermal imaging device TX Encounter from Swarovski supports you comprehensively in night hunting – as a handheld device or as an attachment in front of the daytime optics.With the TX Encounter, Swarovski Optik offers a thermal imaging device that can be used in hunting both as a handheld device with up to 8x digital magnification and as an attachment with 1x optical magnification on the daytime optics. Switching between the operating modes is simple and intuitive at the push of a button, even in complete darkness. Thus, the TX Encounter is a perfect support for hunting at dusk and night as well as in poor visibility conditions and in impenetrable underbrush during the day.Sensor and DisplayThe TX Encounter has a VOx sensor with a resolution of 640x480 px, a pixel pitch of 12 µm, and a NETD value of ≤ 30 mK. This allows even the smallest temperature differences to be detected. The thermal data is processed on the AMOLED display with a resolution of 2560x2048 px into a detailed and high-contrast clear image. The screen automatically regulates brightness to always achieve optimal results.Battery and Operating TimeThe TX Encounter is powered by a rechargeable Li-ion 3,000 mAh battery. This ensures an operating time of up to 3.5 hours. The Swarolight on/off automatic, which operates via a tilt sensor, effectively saves energy. The battery is positioned so that a change can also be easily accomplished at night. With a spare battery, you can comfortably get through the night with 7 hours of operating time.Documentation and CommunicationThe hunting activities can be documented as images or videos – even in slow motion. The integrated memory has a capacity of 4 GB. The data can be managed and shared via the Swarovski Optik Outdoor app, and communication with the mobile device is possible via WiFi. The device features a RAV function (Recoil Activated Video), which films the shot triggered by the recoil. With the POI function (point of interest), you can mark important sequences in the app during the livestream and have them displayed on the device.
