Description

Hello,

For sale is a repeating rifle from the manufacturer Weatherby, model Mark V, in the powerful caliber .300 Weatherby Magnum. The weapon features a sharp-edged and damage-free barrel of 60 cm in length.

The action and barrel are bedded in a classic wooden stock with a German cheek piece and a front fine wood finish. The weapon is capped off with a ventilated butt plate.

An 8x52 scope from Hensoldt / Wetzlar with reticle 1 is mounted as the sight. The lenses are clear and free from scratches or other damage. The optics are mounted on the rifle using a classic SEM.

The rifle offered here has a valid proof from the proof house in Kiel.

A side sliding safety, an open sight (rear sight & front sight), a secure claw lock, and a fine, dry trigger complete the equipment of this weapon. Furthermore, this rifle features fine checkering and sling swivel studs.

The weapon has minor external signs of use on the stock and barrel surface, but this does not affect functionality or precision.

With this rifle, you are acquiring a classic repeater with long-range caliber. Additionally, upon local pickup, you will receive two packages (40 rounds) of ammunition for the weapon.

Detailed information is provided in the images.

The weapon can be viewed at any time.

If you have any further questions, please feel free to contact me. I am happy to assist.

Best regards,
Waffen Laux

Use and handling of firearms

Please pay attention to the following before using the weapon.

General safety instructions for handling firearms

Read the instruction manual of your weapon first before handling or using the weapon.

Follow the safety rules and consider every weapon as loaded and ready to fire.

Hold the weapon in a safe area. Use the safety and remove the magazine if necessary. Open the bolt and check the chamber. If necessary, remove the ammunition.

Before loading or using the weapon, check the barrel for foreign objects such as stuck bullets, dirt, branches, snow, or water droplets.

Load your weapon only immediately before use.

Secure your weapon at all times. Only immediately before firing should the weapon be made ready to fire.

Only fire when there is no danger to the surroundings and the backstop behind the target is adequate. Aim carefully at the target.

The danger area of the projectile extends up to 5 km behind the target. Depending on the caliber, the danger area can be even further than 5 km.

Only place your finger on the trigger when you have the target in sight.

Never point or aim the weapon at an object you do not intend to shoot.

Use only intact and undamaged ammunition from your dealer or your own hand-loaded ammunition that complies with regulations, if you are a knowledgeable reloader.

Firing damaged, unknown, or incorrectly reloaded ammunition can cause serious or even fatal injuries to persons or damage your weapon.

Load the weapon only with the appropriate ammunition and caliber for which the weapon is marked and tested.

Ensure that no ricochets occur in the target area. These can occur from hard, smooth surfaces or the water surface.

The ejection area of the weapon should always be kept clear, as bystanders can be injured by hot casings.

Unload the weapon before every ascent and descent from a high seat or when getting into and out of a vehicle. Also, when overcoming obstacles such as fences, hedges, streams, and ditches, you should unload the weapon.

Secure your weapon if you must carry it loaded.

If your weapon has a malfunction or failure, do not attempt to force it to work. Unload the weapon and take it to your gunsmith.

The weapon must always be unloaded when you set it down, transport it locked, or store it in a safe. Transport your weapon always unloaded and in a locked container (case or box) and secure the container with a lock.

Never leave your weapon unattended. Always protect your firearms from unauthorized access.

If the security class of your safe does not allow it, always store your weapon separately from the ammunition. Ensure that it is out of reach of children and stored securely.

Never use a weapon as a tool for prying or striking. This can lead to an unintended discharge and damage the weapon.

Before cleaning, ensure that the weapon is unloaded and that no ammunition is present in the chamber, magazine, or bolt.

Cleaning or maintenance may only take place with the weapon fully unloaded.

Do not handle the weapon from the muzzle end.

Only hand over your weapon in an unloaded condition and only to persons who can be trusted to handle the weapon safely and responsibly.

When lending or selling your weapon to a person with a firearms license, always provide the instruction manual and any other related documents with the weapon.

Always wear your personal protective equipment such as hearing protection and safety glasses during hunting or target shooting!

Avoid consuming alcoholic beverages before and during hunting or shooting at the range.

The above warnings must be strictly observed! Failure to comply may result in fatal injuries and property damage. Additionally, failure to comply may call your reliability into question and result in the revocation of your firearms license!
