The MR308 is a semi-automatic self-loading rifle in caliber .308 Win. It is the civilian version of the police and military-used HK417, maintaining the same quality with a high standard of precision, safety, and reliability. As an indirect gas pressure loader, the MR308 operates like its smaller brother, the MR223, with the proven and reliable drive system of the G36. The highly precise long gun in AR design is fully suitable for hunting and guarantees top results in static and dynamic long gun disciplines among sport shooters.

The MR308 is available in barrel lengths of 13, 16.5, and 20 inches. The cold-hammered and hard-chromed precision barrels are free-floating and ensure excellent accuracy. The Slim Line handguard with HKey interfaces fits precisely on the extended barrel nut, ensuring that no components warp or begin to wobble under load. The adjustable Slim Line stock, combined with the short barrel length, makes the MR308 extremely maneuverable. The stock can be optimally adjusted to the body shape using detent positions. Identical to the MR223, the big brother MR308 features ambidextrous and symmetrically arranged controls for a balanced combination of handling and control. Quick transitions from right to left shooting positions are just as possible as easy operation by left-handed shooters.
