The optical excellence of the Conquest HDX is based on the HD concept: a perfectly balanced optical system that combines selected coatings, lenses, and a finely tuned optical design. It allows for 90% light transmission for the brightest images, color fidelity for true-to-nature images without color fringing and color casts for perfect identification, and edge-to-edge sharpness for a clear and detailed image across the entire field of view.

Its durable, waterproof, and shock-resistant features are due to its robust mechanical design and lightweight magnesium housing. The thoughtful ergonomics allow for comfortable handling even during extended observation times, thanks to the non-slip grip and the smooth and precise focusing wheel. Adjustable eyecups and lockable diopter settings ensure a personalized viewing experience.

Even in wet weather, there are impressive sights to observe in nature. For this, ZEISS has developed LotuTec®. A coating for the lenses of binoculars and spotting scopes that enables unrestricted clear visibility in any weather condition.

ZEISS T* Coating

The ZEISS T* multi-coating guarantees brilliant, high-contrast images, especially noticeable in unfavorable lighting conditions and at dusk. However, it is not a fixed recipe for a layer structure, but a technology that is constantly adapted to new glass materials and requirements, varying from lens to lens.
