THE PERFORMANCE PLUS

Shooting from short barrels without loss of performance

Short, handy barrels are very popular among hunters. This trend is steadily increasing because hunting with a suppressor is now allowed in many federal states. To keep the gun with the suppressor from becoming too unwieldy, short barrels are increasingly being ordered. But beware! Standard ammunition is designed for common barrel lengths of 600 mm. When this ammunition is fired from shorter barrels, the following disadvantages occur: loss of energy and velocity, reduced effectiveness, pronounced muzzle flash, loud muzzle blast, and increased wear on suppressors.
