Precise thermal imaging technology in a compact format
The Axion 2 XG35 is a powerful thermal imaging monocular with a modern 640 sensor and high detection range. It combines advanced image processing, robust construction, and extensive connectivity in a particularly handy housing.

Optimized image processing for maximum detail recognition
The current generation of the Axion-2 series utilizes advanced algorithms for signal processing. Three adjustable gain levels, combined with an integrated smoothing filter and finely adjustable brightness and contrast parameters, allow for situation-adapted representation. Target objects and backgrounds are differentiated – even under changing weather and temperature conditions. This facilitates both detection at long distances and the safe assessment of wildlife features.

Highly sensitive Lynred sensor (EU)
Inside, a European Lynred VOx sensor with 640 × 480 pixels and 12 µm pitch operates. With a thermal sensitivity of < 40 mK, the system delivers usable image signals and stable detail representation even in rain, fog, or high humidity.

Powerful 35-mm F1.0 germanium lens
The F35/1.0 lens offers high transmission in the LWIR range. The precisely manufactured germanium lenses ensure high-contrast, clear thermal images. In combination with the sensitive sensor, the device enables a detection range of up to 1,750 meters (standard object 1.8 m height).

Robust magnesium housing
The magnesium alloy housing combines low weight with high mechanical stability. It reliably protects the electronics from shocks, moisture, and temperature fluctuations. At the same time, the metal housing supports heat dissipation, reduces image noise, and contributes to constant performance during longer observation phases.

Compact, ergonomic, and ambidextrous operation
Weighing only 300 g and with pocket-sized dimensions (152 × 50 × 74 mm), the Axion 2 XG35 is ideal for mobile use. The symmetrical button arrangement on the top of the device allows for intuitive operation for both right- and left-handed users.

Variable magnification
The digital zoom operates in the range of 2.5× to 20×. The magnification can be adjusted either in fixed 2× steps or continuously to optimally adapt the field of view and detail level to the respective observation situation.

AMOLED display with high contrast performance
The integrated AMOLED display (1024 × 768 pixels) offers high color dynamics, fast response times, and reliable functionality even at low temperatures. The representation remains high-contrast and fluid.

8 color palettes
To adapt to different operating conditions, eight color modes are available, including White-Hot, Black-Hot, and Red-Hot for maximum detection, as well as contrast-enhancing variants like Rainbow or Ultramarine. Monochrome modes like Sepia or Violet are particularly suitable for longer observations at night.

Integrated recording function & cloud connection
The internal 16 GB memory allows for the recording of photos and videos directly on the device. Through the Stream Vision 2 app, recordings can be managed, streamed live to a smartphone, or stored in the Pulsar Cloud (16 GB cloud storage included).

Wi-Fi with 2.4 GHz & 5 GHz support
In addition to the classic 2.4 GHz band, the device also supports 5 GHz Wi-Fi. This ensures higher transmission rates, more stable connections, and reduced susceptibility to interference during live image transmission or remote control via smartphone.

Power supply & runtime
The Axion 2 XG35 is powered by the APS5 Li-Ion battery and achieves a runtime of up to 7 hours. The battery can be changed without tools and can be charged either externally or directly in the device via USB-C. External power supply via power bank is also possible.

Water protection according to IPX7
The device is protected against strong splashes, rain, and snow according to IPX7. Temporary submersion (up to 1 m depth for 30 minutes) does not affect functionality.
