Description

MERGER DUO NXP50
The Merger Duo NXP50 is an innovative multispectral binocular that combines thermal imaging and digital night vision devices into a single unit, offering enhanced detection, recognition, and identification capabilities. The Merger Duo NXP50 captures high-quality images across various wavelength spectra (visible, near-infrared, and long-wave infrared), making it a truly versatile device for observation at any time of day and under all weather conditions. The Merger Duo leverages the advantages of both technologies, facilitating the location of an object with the thermal camera, assessing the terrain with the digital night vision camera, and clearly identifying all minute features and details of the object with the combined viewing modes.
Thermal, digital, and combined display modes

The Merger Duo supports multiple observation modes. The thermal imaging mode is used for detecting and observing animals in all weather conditions, while the digital image mode allows for improved identification of the target object in Full HD resolution. The "picture-in-picture" function enables the simultaneous display of images from both optical channels, with either the thermal or digital image taking precedence as desired.
Extra low-light digital Full HD night vision

The image produced by the digital night vision channel of the Merger Duo NXP50 is characterized by high resolution and quality detail processing. Silhouettes, anatomical differences, behavioral peculiarities – the high-resolution electronics display the trophy qualities of an animal and provide the hunter with the information needed for a good shooting decision.

IR Illuminator

The Merger Duo NXP50 features a detachable, invisible 940 nm IR illuminator with adjustable spot positioning. This enhances the accuracy of details in the digital channel during pitch-black nights.
Image Quality

Advanced Pulsar Image Boost Technology

Pulsar Image Boost provides the Merger Duo thermal imaging camera with a high level of detail, clarity, and contrast through a range of original image processing algorithms. The multispectral binocular Merger Duo reproduces complex scenes in a wide range of shades with evenly radiating, low-contrast objects such as the sky, grass, and water surfaces. By detailing and sharpening objects through software at various distances, the thermal image becomes highly informative. A manual increase in the sensitivity of the thermal image sensor improves quality when detecting animals under deteriorating observation conditions. A smoothing filter and a wide range of brightness and contrast settings allow for comfortable observation over extended periods.

Light-sensitive F50/1.0 thermal imaging lens

The characteristics of the thermal imaging optics have a decisive impact on a thermal camera's ability to capture even the lowest radiation values. With the light-sensitive lens of the Merger Duo (F50/1.0) thermal imaging camera combined with the highly sensitive thermal image sensor, maximum efficiency in detection is achieved. With the Merger Duo, the user consistently receives high-quality, detailed, and contrast-rich informative images, even in rain or fog when the temperature contrast in the observed scene is minimal.

Invisible IR illuminator to highlight details of images in the digital channel

The Merger Duo NXP50 comes with a detachable, invisible IR illuminator (940 nm) that enhances the details of images in digital channels at night. The three-level power setting allows the user to choose the preferred observation distance and the illumination intensity of the observed objects. The fine control of the IR spot position enables the placement of the highest illumination intensities in a desired area of the field of view.

A selection of 8 color palettes in thermal imaging mode

A selection of eight color palettes allows the user to better observe their field of view, optimize the device for specific tasks, and adjust to changing observation conditions. White-Hot, Black-Hot, and Red-Hot are optimal for object detection. Rainbow and Ultramarine increase the chances of recognition and identification. The colors Red, Monochrome, Sepia, and Violet are best suited for extended night observation.
