The latest PIPS 2.0 firmware optimizes the image with improved edge sharpening, zoom functions, and noise reduction. Six color palettes, including White-Hot and Rainbow, provide individual viewing options. The hotspot function automatically marks the hottest heat sources with a crosshair.

With an IP67 certification, the device is dust and waterproof, operates reliably from -30 °C to +55 °C, and delivers up to 6.5 hours of operating time. The integrated electronic compass function supports safe orientation in any adventure.
