Taurus 605 357 Magnum 2 inch barrel polished Originally developed as a self-defense weapon, the Taurus 605 in .357 Magnum sets standards in design, performance, and reliability. It features a single/double action trigger, a fixed sight, and a transfer bar for added safety. This safety device is commonly found in revolvers with an integrated firing pin in the frame. Simply put, the hammer cannot reach the firing pin unless the transfer bar is "compressed" to transfer the hammer's strike to the firing pin. The transfer bar only moves between the hammer and firing pin when the trigger is fully pulled.
