The .308 Win RWS Speed Tip Short Rifle in the 165 Grains version is a specially developed cartridge that showcases its strengths particularly in lightweight rifles with short barrels. This ammunition combines the proven reliability of RWS with state-of-the-art bullet technology to guarantee you the highest performance at the crucial moment. Short, lightweight barrels are increasingly gaining popularity among hunters. This trend is supported by the more frequent use of suppressors. Standard ammunition is designed for common barrel lengths of 600 mm. When firing standard ammunition from short barrels (420 mm to 550 mm), the following disadvantages become apparent: energy and speed loss, limited effectiveness, pronounced muzzle flash, loud muzzle report, and increased wear on suppressors. Therefore, RWS has developed the Short Rifle, a cartridge specifically optimized for use from short barrels. In practice, this means shooting from short barrels without loss of performance. RWS has now developed a suitable hunting bullet that reliably covers bullet impact ranges from close to over 400m and simultaneously variable game weights. The RWS SPEED TIP PROFESSIONAL is one of the latest developments from RWS, particularly known for its very high shock/stop effect and suitability for long shooting distances. The streamlined bullet shape of the RWS SPEED TIP PROFESSIONAL ends at the front with the Speed-Tip bullet tip, which ensures low air resistance and thus an extremely elongated trajectory. Even at long shooting distances, the innovative bullet tip allows for precise shots and maximum momentary effect. At the rear, the bullet shape culminates in a V-Tail rear, which also ensures precision and flight stability at long distances due to its shape. Tailored to the wide range of applications, the new bullet SPEED TIP PROFESSIONAL is developed with a 2-core structure made of lead, based on the proven H-jacket principle: a slightly softer, quick-responding front core and a penetrating, harder rear core. The nickel-plated flow steel jacket additionally ensures high shape stability of the remaining body and guarantees a safe exit with blood trail even with larger game! Thus, the RWS SPEED TIP PROFESSIONAL is optimally developed for the requirements of this caliber regarding stopping power, penetration, and long-range suitability. Contents: 20 pieces.
