B&T Federal for extractor for APC223/300

The extractor spring is a small but crucial component in the bolt assembly of the B&T models APC223 and APC300. It provides the necessary preload for the extractor, which pulls the empty cartridge case from the chamber during the loading process and feeds it to the ejection system. Without a properly functioning spring, the safe operation of the weapon cannot be guaranteed. Function: The spring continuously presses the extractor against the rim of the case. Only in this way can the empty case be reliably extracted from the chamber after firing. A fatigued or damaged spring can lead to extraction or feeding malfunctions. Compatibility: The spring is identical for both models APC223 (.223 Remington / 5.56×45 mm) and APC300 (.300 AAC Blackout / 7.62×35 mm). The same extractor spring is used in both calibers. Assembly: Part of the bolt (Bolt Assembly), directly integrated into the extractor mechanism. It works together with the extractor and, if applicable, a pressure piece. Material: Made from high-strength spring steel with durable preload, even under frequent use. Corrosion-protected for long-lasting function under adverse conditions. Replacement: Should be replaced if visible wear, functional problems, or during a bolt overhaul occur. Installation is possible with suitable tools and basic knowledge of firearm servicing.
