The highest expression of luxury that our master gunsmiths have combined in a unique and extraordinary shotgun. The Royal model is the ultimate weapon for the creation of a matched pair or trio.

Forged receiver with screwed firing pin housings.
Gas relief valves to divert powder gases in the event of primer punctures.
Receiver optionally in rounded or traditional design.
Barrel bundle manufactured using the demiblock process, with forged barrel hooks made from the highest quality chrome-nickel steel.
Self-opening system in the style of Holland & Holland.
Automatic ejectors.
Double trigger, front trigger with pivot joint.
Real side locks, with 7 waves and safety catch rods.
Signal waves indicating the cocking state of the locks.
Very fine, full-surface engraving, 100% handcrafted.
Engraving in Celtic style, individual engravings including hunting scenes are available upon request.
Surface finish of receiver, opener lever, iron forend, Purdey push rod, trigger guard, safety slider in Old Silver or color case hardened.
Crafted from specially selected exhibition-quality walnut wood, featuring hand-cut checkering and a hand-polished oil finish. Custom-made according to customer requirements, with an inlaid gold monogram plate.
Caliber selection: 12 – 16 – 20 – 28 or .410.
Each shotgun is delivered with a handcrafted leather case, made to the dimensions of the weapon, as well as a canvas protective bag.

Delivery times are approximately 7 to 8 months after the binding order confirmation.

Upon order confirmation, a deposit of 50% will be invoiced.

We offer you a factory visit, during which we will accompany you. The visit allows you to get a precise picture of all available options and to make a selection according to your requirements and needs. A visit to the factory is necessary for the creation of the custom stock. Grulla is very conveniently accessible. Various international airports are within a one-hour drive from the factory. The cost for a factory visit is €450. Of this, 50% will be credited towards the purchase price of a weapon.

Grulla has been manufacturing high-quality double shotguns since 1932, particularly appealing to traditional hunters.

They possess similar characteristics to those of "the best London guns," but at much more advantageous conditions and significantly shorter delivery times.

The weapons are individually tailored and handcrafted according to the wishes and needs of each customer.

All shotguns feature real side locks in the style of Holland & Holland, with 5 or 7 waves. Various calibers, barrel lengths, rail types, and stock shapes are available. Custom engravings are possible for an additional charge.

Another special feature, Grulla offers a complete left-handed version of its shotguns for a very small additional cost. The lock opener lever can be operated to the left, the trigger blades are set to the left, and the stock's cast is already adjusted from the receiver.

Grulla supplies, among others, the Spanish royal family and manufactures three model lines for the esteemed English gun maker William Evans, which are sold under his name.

The models “Connaught” and “Connaught Premium” feature side locks with 5 waves and other advantages. They were introduced by William Evans to offer an “affordable” shotgun on the market.

The model “Pall Mall” features side locks with 7 waves and other advantages, as well as a self-opening system in the style of Holland & Holland. It represents a genuine alternative to purchasing a used English Best Gun.

The delivery of white-finished shotguns is possible by arrangement. The time- and cost-intensive steps of production have already been completed. The adaptation of the shotgun to your needs and the final finishing for handover to the engraver will be done according to your specifications and by the gunsmith of your choice.
