The Staffelsee 3-18x56 LD V2 with illuminated fiber reticle 4 is excellently suited for twilight hunting and especially for night sitting due to its light performance. It is also perfectly suitable for use with night vision and thermal imaging technology. The newly developed LD coating with low dispersion not only reduces color fringing at the edges of objects (chromatic aberration) but also achieves very good resolution with a high-contrast and color-accurate image reproduction.

The Staffelsee series from Professor Optiken does not compromise on quality despite its comparatively affordable price. With the new illuminated fiber reticle 4 featuring a centered illuminated point in the second image plane, we have significantly improved our Staffelsee series. The illuminated fiber reticle is very fine, resulting in an extremely low target coverage. The illuminated point is dimmable in 11 steps and is bright enough to be absolutely suitable for daylight use. Even at the highest illumination level, the illuminated point has hardly any stray light. With the laterally mounted parallax adjustment, you can quickly switch between different shooting distances without losing image sharpness.

The target optics have been constructed to be absolutely robust - all movable components, including the adjustment turrets, are made of metal. The housing with a 30 mm central tube diameter is also made of high-strength duralumin. Our target optics have been tested on all common calibers, allowing us to guarantee 100% shot resistance. The Staffelsee 3-18x56 LD V2 is filled with nitrogen and is completely waterproof (IP protection class IP6X). A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up.
