The second generation of our binoculars with rangefinder has been completely revised. With a more compact design, not only has the weight been reduced by almost 400 grams to 790 grams, but the optics have also been significantly enhanced. The new 2nd generation is additionally equipped with multi-coated optics featuring modern ED glass (extra-low dispersion) and BAK4 roof prisms. This ensures brilliant image reproduction with high contrast and extremely sharp images.

The Professor Optiken Watzmann 10x42 ED LEM V2.0 combines the classic binocular with a modern laser rangefinder. For our new flagship model, a state-of-the-art PDLC display is used, allowing for nearly unrestricted use of the full field of view of 114 m. Compared to its predecessor with 8x magnification, the field of view has remained almost the same despite the higher magnification. The Watzmann 10x42 LEM V2.0 features various measurement functions, such as the angle measurement function. The range is up to 1,800 m, depending on weather conditions.

Thanks to the newly developed ED optics with fully coated lenses, the new binoculars impress with strong contrasts, high color fidelity, and high light transmission. Thus, the Watzmann 10x42 ED LEM V2.0 can still be used in twilight. The binoculars are robustly constructed - all moving parts and the housing are made from high-strength polycarbonate. The eyecups are twist-up and can be individually adjusted. The Watzmann 10x42 ED LEM V2.0 is nitrogen-filled and completely waterproof. A nano-coating also ensures that the lenses do not fog up. Like all binoculars from Professor Optiken, the Watzmann 10x42 ED LEM V2.0 also has a tripod connection.
