The EXPS3 is the most compact model ever. It is smaller and lighter than other Holosights and operates with just one CR123 battery. With the new battery configuration, there is more space on the Picatinny rail than ever before. The battery life is approximately 600 hours. The reticle is parallax-free. The integrated 2 M.O.A repeatable quick-release mount for Picatinny and Weaver rails results in a 7 mm raised position.

Compared to the XPS 3-0, the controls have been moved to the side. This allows for the EOTECH Magnifier G30/G33/G43G45/ to be mounted directly behind the device. The rail length required for mounting is only 67 mm.
