The HLR 338 PRO bolt-action rifle from Haenel has been specifically designed for long-range shooting and presents itself as the most powerful variant of the HLR series in caliber .338 Lapua Mag. With this bolt-action rifle, C.G. Haenel delivers a modern precision rifle system that combines incredible functionality with remarkable precision. Furthermore, the 7.5 kg lightweight HLR 338 PRO impresses not only with its ergonomic design but above all with its modularity. The weapon can be effortlessly adjusted to meet specific requirements without any tools. For this purpose, the rifle is equipped with a shoulder stock that can be adjusted not only in height and length but also optimally aligned to the shooter. Additionally, the stock is foldable, allowing the HLR 338 PRO to be shortened from a total length of 1,275 mm to 1,020 mm. Moreover, the bolt-action rifle features a classic cylindrical bolt with a 3-position firing pin safety, which is intended to prevent unintentional discharge in the event of a fall. The cold-hammered precision barrel, with a length of 690 mm and a diameter of 22 mm, is equipped with a handguard featuring an integrated Picatinny 4694 rail and M-LOK, providing not only protection against burns from a hot barrel but also a mounting option. Additionally, a 3-chamber muzzle brake mounted at the muzzle positively affects the shooting experience and contributes to a reduction in recoil as well as a lower muzzle rise. Furthermore, the equipment of the bolt-action rifle includes an adjustable double-stage trigger, which can be set in terms of length, take-up, and trigger weight from 10 to 20 N (1.0 to 2.0 kg). Moreover, the delivery includes a steel detachable magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds, eliminating the need for constant reloading.
