The Haenel HLR Basic bolt-action rifle was developed by experts from the police and military and represents the optimal precision rifle system for entry into long-range shooting. The rifle combines not only high functionality with incredible precision but also impresses with ergonomics and modularity. The HLR Basic can be comfortably adjusted to meet specific requirements without any tools. The bolt-action rifle features an adjustable shoulder stock with a height-adjustable cheek piece, and the mount is additionally compatible with AR-15 shoulder stocks. A 3-position firing pin safety prevents unintentional discharge, while a handguard with Picatinny 4694 rail and M-LOK provides additional protection against burns from a hot barrel as well as a mounting option. The rifle is also equipped with an adjustable double-stage trigger with a pull weight of 10 to 20 N (1.0 to 2.0 kg) and a detachable magazine with a capacity of 10 rounds. The cold-hammered match barrel also has an M18x1.5 thread for a suppressor or muzzle brake. Furthermore, the HLR 308 Basic models and HLR 308 Pro are also available as a compact variant with a barrel length of 510 mm.
