The Haenel CR308 appears as a semi-automatic rifle in caliber .308 Win. and represents the 'larger and stronger brother' of the CR variant. The dimensions of the rifle have been adapted to the caliber; otherwise, it is functionally and in handling identical to the Haenel CR gas-operated series. The versatile caliber .308 Winchester promises high performance reserves combined with a universal and widely used cartridge. The barrel lengths of 16.65' and 20' remain identical to the CR223. In terms of weight, the CR308 is around 4.3 kg to 4.6 kg. The semi-automatic rifle is optionally available with a direct trigger 2835N or a pressure point trigger (match trigger) 1720N.
