In the repeating rifle model S22 synthetic from Forest Favorit, tradition meets modernity. Original 98 systems are handcrafted in the FRANKONIA gunsmithing manufactory and assembled into modern repeating rifles. The S22 model is characterized by an exceptionally smooth trigger pull. Additionally, the weapon features a shotgun trigger with a steel housing from Recknagel, which ensures flawless function due to its durable and reliable construction. An extended chamber handle with a large, removable ball also allows for quick and reliable cycling. Furthermore, a fixed box magazine provides a capacity for 5 cartridges. The side 3-position safety from Recknagel fulfills an additional protective function and is excellently suited for the use of very low scope mounts due to its positioning. For this purpose, the rifle is already equipped with a Picatinny rail. Made of plastic, the ergonomic hole stock with a soft-touch coating is not only particularly robust and insensitive but also offers comfortable and safe handling. Equipped with Merkel's i-Sight system, the shooter is offered numerous options in combination with a muzzle thread M15x1. Thus, the simultaneous use of a silencer or a muzzle brake together with rear sight and front sight is just as possible as attaching a muzzle sling swivel. Specifically for placement, there are drilling holes in the front area of the 47 cm long barrel made of special steel from Lothar Walther, which serve the uncomplicated repositioning of the i-Sight front sight. Additionally, Halder Slim sling swivels can be attached for quick changes of the rifle sling.
