The Rover G2 Alaskan comes with a highly stable plastic stock with a soft-touch finish. The feel of the weapon is very pleasant and grippy. The overall length of the weapon is 101 cm. The stock also features an adjustable cheek piece made of black polymer. The rubber butt pad is well-dampening and absorbs the recoil in every caliber. A Picatinny rail is mounted on the receiver for easy installation of optics. The opening angle of the system is 60 degrees, allowing it to be used well even when lying down. The installed barrel extension allows for easy replacement of the barrel without adjustments. The barrel length is 52 cm, making it suitable for use in tight hunting stands. The safety used locks both the trigger and the trigger block. It is a very safe system, as the locking of the trigger block is designed to be particularly robust. And when the trigger block is locked, the firing pin is essentially also locked. Theoretically, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less resistant. The fore-end has an integrated multi-purpose steel plate for attaching a bipod. The rifle features a barrel thread (5/8'-24) and is delivered with a muzzle brake. Additionally, a fine trigger with a pull weight of 900 g is installed. The magazine capacity is 7 cartridges, making this rifle a reliable companion for sitting, driven hunts, or shooting ranges.
