Robust safety The safety used locks both the trigger and the trigger block. It is a very secure system, as the locking of the trigger block is designed to be particularly robust. And when the trigger block is locked, the firing pin is essentially locked as well. Theoretically, a safety that directly locks the firing pin is safer, but due to the small size of the components, these parts are often less durable.
