The perfect extension for ambitious shooters At the IWA 2018 in Nuremberg, Haenel expanded its range of Competition Rifles (CR) with the newly introduced CR308. With the CR in .308 Winchester caliber, the Suhl-based company presents the 'larger and stronger brother' of the CR variant. The dimensions of the rifle have been adapted to the caliber; otherwise, it functionally and in handling corresponds to the Haenel CR gas-operated series. The universal .308 Winchester caliber promises high performance reserves combined with a universal and widely used cartridge. With this expansion of their product portfolio in the area of indirect gas-operated rifles, Haenel addresses both the civilian market and the law enforcement market. Flexibility and performance combined in one model The barrel lengths of 16.65 inches and 20 inches focus on variability and remain true to the standards of the CR223. Weighing approximately 4.3 kg, the weapon is within the normal range. The direct trigger with a pull weight of 3200 grams ensures familiar operability but can be replaced by a match trigger of 1500 grams if needed. This adaptability makes the model an attractive choice for different requirements and preferences.
