Wonderfully beautiful and not to be underestimated, Freya - Goddess of Luck and Love - Leader of the Valkyries on the battlefield.

The Grand Power fully licensed Freya R15 is THE trade fair novelty at IWA 2024 from Delta Armory and is now available. It features some very remarkable functions combined with an unbeatable price-performance ratio.

The R15 Freya airsoft rifle as an S-AEG with a spring quick-change system in caliber 6 mm BB belongs to the Alpha series (The Alpha series is the full metal series) and is therefore made of full metal.

The upper receiver and lower receiver are manufactured in a very appealing skeleton design and using aluminum die-casting. Unlike the real Freya, Delta deliberately omitted the cutouts in the body to ensure focus on reliability and trouble-free operation.

On the aluminum handguard and the body, there is a Picatinny rail according to MIL-STD-1913 or STANAG 2324 (NATO) on which all common accessories can be mounted. From the factory, it has a horizontally and vertically adjustable rear sight as well as a height-adjustable front sight. The rear and front sights are foldable as "Flip-Up" and made of polymer.

The outer barrel features a 14 mm left thread for mounting a suppressor replica or a tracer unit for use at night or in urban combat.

The controls such as the fire selector switch are designed unilaterally and engage perfectly in the various settings.

Thanks to the slightly curved trigger guard, the trigger can also be easily operated with gloves. The pistol grip is ergonomically shaped. The sling swivel above the grip has a mount on both the left and right sides for accessories.

To access the adjustable hop-up in the ejection port, you pull the charging handle back. The Freya has a functioning bolt catch, allowing for convenient hop-up adjustment. The T-shaped charging handle on this model features ambidextrous locking notches that are synchronized. Whether you pull from the left, right, or both sides, the charging handle is easy to operate.

The Freya R15 is delivered with a mid-cap magazine.

The stock of the rifle features a flap that can be opened by pressing a button on the top. For this, the stock must be pulled out to at least the second notch position. The stock provides space for an 11.1 Volt LiPo battery. Either stock-type batteries or our modern Bears-Tec triple-stick batteries can be used. Older or cheaper batteries will not fit in the battery compartment due to their dimensions.

The gearbox installed is a V2 metal gearbox with 8mm bearings.

Thanks to an adjustable hop-up chamber, the range and precision of the assault rifle are remarkable.

No thanks to Mosfet! The new Eagle ETU from Delta Armory

With the new Eagle ETU, separate mosfets are a thing of the past. The Freya comes with the new hybrid ETU from Delta Armory, which already includes the core functions of a mosfet and offers much more than a mosfet alone can provide. It features a microswitch for the fire selector, a magnetic switch for the trigger, and optical sensors to detect the gearbox position.

This allows for a variety of custom functions to be achieved - unfortunately only limited on the German market due to gun laws. The advantages are high sensitivity, long lifespan, and minimal influence from external disturbances.

The use of brushless motors is supported. For this, the active brake must be set to "OFF".

Please do not use cheap BBs as the Freya has a tuning barrel, and the use of cheap BBs regularly leads to complaints with us regarding feeding issues!

BB-King, Fritzcell, Platinium, and similar branded cheap China BBs.
