The Rossi M951 is a revolver in .38 Special caliber, manufactured by the Brazilian company Amadeo Rossi S.A. Rossi is known for producing affordable yet reliable revolvers that are often used as service weapons, for self-defense, or in sports. The M951 was one of the successful Rossi revolvers in .38 Special caliber. Later, the model was replaced by more modern revolvers, especially after Rossi was acquired by Taurus. Rossi revolvers can still be found on the used market today and are often used as a budget-friendly alternative to Smith & Wesson or Taurus models. The barrel is 10 cm or 4 inches. It has a 6-shot cylinder and original grips. The Rossi received its proof mark in 1986 in Mellrichstadt.
