The Savage Revel Classic is a modern lever-action repeater from the manufacturer in Massachusetts. Made with modern materials and manufacturing methods but in a classic look, the Revel offers the shooter a reliable small-caliber rifle for sporting use or hunting. The Revel features a Take-Down system, meaning the firearm can be quickly disassembled into two parts without tools, for easy transport or space-saving storage.

The system operates smoothly, but the trigger is crisp, the magazine is a classic tube magazine and is loaded from the front, and the safety is also a classic push-button safety above the trigger. As standard, the lever-action repeater is delivered with an adjustable rear sight/front sight, the housing is prepared for optics mounting, and the bolt handle is enlarged so that it can be operated easily even with gloves. The fore-end and buttstock are made of walnut wood.
