With the APC 60 ED spotting scope in combination with the 17-35x eyepiece, Kite Optics now offers an image-stabilized monocular that delivers steady and clear images even when handheld at 35x magnification.

The Stabilizer
The heart of the APC 60 ED monocular is the stabilization system KDGS-TTK (Kite Dynamic Gimbal System) developed by Kite, featuring its KT 3.0 processor. This is an AI mechanism that continuously analyzes movements in real-time and corrects them. This ensures a steady image that could otherwise only be achieved with a tripod at such high magnifications.

The ED Optics
The optical ED system provides a high-contrast, sharp, and natural stabilized image without distortions. Chromatic aberration is reduced to an absolute minimum. The ED lenses ensure a light transmission of 90%. The field of view is 60-41 m at 1,000 m.

The Device
The large zoom and focus wheels on the 17-35x eyepiece and the APC 60 ED allow for intuitive operation. The eyepiece is also compatible with the KSP 80 HD spotting scope with angled view. The instrument is waterproof according to IPX7 standard, and a nitrogen gas filling protects the interior from fogging. Even when using the monocular in hot and humid regions, it remains fully functional. The operating temperature range is between -20 °C and 45 °C. The objective features an M60x0.75 filter thread and a ¼‘‘ tripod thread, to which you can attach the included RelexView grip, making observation even more comfortable and less tiring.

The Internal Li-Ion Battery
With the integrated Li-Ion battery, the worry about having charged batteries is over. The battery is simply charged using the included USB Type-C cable. Thanks to the energy-saving operation of the monocular, you have a runtime of up to 36 hours with average use.
