This is the new MAUSER 18 Forest Hunt.
With it, Mauser has created a rifle for all hunters who want to perfectly utilize the entire hunting spectrum with the same tool, from sitting to stalking to driven hunts.
Thanks to its compact overall length of 101 cm and practical total weight of 3,100 grams, it neither gets in the way nor feels heavy.
The short 51 cm solid barrel with muzzle thread ensures that the "Forest Hunt" rests securely in position, swings perfectly, and impresses with high shooting comfort in all situations.
For shots at close range and when speed is essential, the MAUSER 18 Forest Hunt can optionally be equipped with a contrasting escape sight.
For the ultra-robust polymer stock, the MAUSER product developers have chosen a classic fir green.
The highly appreciated textured inserts on the pistol grip and forend, as well as the tool-free removable butt plate, are of course again among the top features.
