The Sauer 505 ErgoLux Repeating Rifle in Outback Configuration with a Complete Package Including a Brand Scope. As its name suggests, the Sauer 505 ErgoLux repeating rifle combines ergonomics and luxury. This equipment palette is named after the Australian wilderness, and accordingly, the focus of the configurations is on robustness, achieved among other things by the DLC coating on the barrel and housing, as well as with a chamber grip ball made of anodized aluminum. The complete package includes the following points:the 505 ErgoLux Outback in the caliber of your choice,a scope from renowned brand manufacturers, the Sauer 505 saddle mount, the mounting andthe sighting in.The StockMany hunters swear by the natural material wood for tactile reasons. The sophisticated shape of the ErgoLux wooden stock significantly compensates for perceived recoil and gives the rifle great stability, regardless of the shooting position you adopt. The cheek piece has been further optimized compared to previous versions, making your contact with the rifle even more organic. In combination with the ergonomic pistol grip, you will feel one with your Sauer 505 ErgoLux when you shoot. The stock length is 36.5 cm, and you can choose between wood classes 2-5 for the walnut stock. The Steel Housing with DLC CoatingThe solid steel housing allows for quieter cycling due to reduced friction losses and a smooth chambering. The surfaces of the housing are coated with a DLC coating. DLC stands for "Diamond-like carbon." This type of coating is very environmentally friendly and biocompatible compared to galvanic coatings. The coated components are particularly resistant and very smooth due to a thin-film coating process. The Manual SafetyThe manual safety is both comfortable and secure. The Sauer 505 model has undergone further development compared to its predecessors, both in terms of usability and safety. A longer cocking path requires even less effort. With a light thumb pressure, you can cock your rifle just before the shot, and just as easily relax it afterward to perform the unloading. The TriggerThe Sauer 505 rifle features a Quattro trigger with four weight settings. This allows the trigger to break crystal clear, and you have exactly the individually suitable trigger weight. Settings of 350 g, 750 g, 1,000 g, and 1,250 g are possible. The adjustment is made with the Sauer universal key when the fore-end is uncocked. A precisely adjusted trigger prevents jerking during the shot and missing the target. The MagazineThe polymer magazine is designed for the chosen calibers and holds 2 to 5 cartridges, depending on the version. An unintentional release of the magazine button is prevented by the integrated magazine safety MagLock. The BarrelThe Sauer 505 repeating rifle in the Outback configuration is equipped with a cold-hammered barrel. This allows for highly precise shots. The muzzle diameter is 17 mm, and the muzzle is equipped with an M15x1 thread for a suppressor. It has a smooth profile without sights, and its length varies between 42 cm and 62 cm depending on your caliber choice. The barrel of the Sauer 505 Outback is effectively protected against corrosion by a DLC coating, just like its other steel surfaces. By the way, the stocks and barrels are compatible with the Sauer 404, so you can use them with your old rifle. The ScopeThe scope is mounted on the Sauer 505 saddle mount, and the repeating rifle is equipped with a device for this mount. Four discreet recesses at the level of the cartridge chamber hold it without tension, allowing the barrel to continue to oscillate freely. No further adjustments to the rifle are necessary. With this system, you avoid impairments caused by a mounting base. After the initial sighting in, you can easily dismount and remount the scope without affecting the accuracy.
