In the Flintenschule Otte, methodically structured courses, training sessions, and workshops are offered according to the guidelines of the CSPA for young hunters, returnees, and interested parties in shooting sports at the company's own shooting range in groups of a maximum of 6 people.
Since shooting with a shotgun is intuitively done at moving and flying targets, training shotgun shooting is also the most demanding task for the instructor. Therefore, only experienced and certified instructors and trainers are capable of ensuring this professional preparation and training. A professional shooting education thus requires a perfect "setup" of the shooter as well as meticulous adjustment of the shotgun even before the shooting begins. Since the shotgun shooter ideally receives an ideal target image with both eyes open, we also determine or check the eye dominance at the beginning and adjust it if necessary, when possible.
Instructors:
Dirk Otte, internationally trained, certified, and accredited shooting instructor of the CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association)
Fabian Otte, German Vice Champion Olympic Skeet, state squad shooter since 2020
Through the proven, methodical structure of shotgun shooting according to the guidelines of the renowned British shooting association CPSA (Clay Pigeon Shooting Association), you will learn to hit the targets absolutely controlled and sustainably. The secret lies, in addition to perfect preparation, also in first-class diagnostics. The weapon holding points, visual acquisition points, and reaction times of the individual shooters are meticulously determined. After each shot, each shooter receives their personal 3 R's: Result, Reason, Remedy: (Outcome, Justification, Improvement with Correction).
In line with the motto of CPSA Instructor Dirk Otte: A successful shot begins long before the trigger is pulled.
Since there are different basic techniques for shooting a flying target, e.g., Swing through, Maintained Lead, Pull away, these methods are presented, and their respective advantages and disadvantages are highlighted and explained. Subsequently, these techniques are tried out and compared at the shooting range until the shooter has found the one that suits them best. This is effectively reinforced through repetition and meticulous correction to provide the shooter with sustainable results. Additionally, we offer further training days to continue supporting them in solidifying their skills without risking the development of bad habits.
Especially beginners require absolutely suitable equipment and perfect theoretical preparation for successful shooting training. Our instruction is characterized by a consistently interlocking system.
Even before the actual shooting begins, errors that are almost always made by shooters are pointed out and eliminated before they can even creep in.
