The Walther PDP ("Personal Defense Pistol") refill canister for training purposes is loaded into the pepper pistol using a folding mechanism. The trigger allows for multiple strong spray bursts at distances of up to six meters. A viewing window serves for color control of the cartridge (tear gas, pepper, or water for training), and the automatic palm safety prevents unintentional discharge. The replacement cartridge is filled with water.
