The Optics
The X-Tour 8x26 achieves its excellent imaging performance through its high-quality optics, delivering sharp, contrast-rich, and detailed images while maintaining neutral color reproduction. The close focus range is at 3 m and the large field of view is 120 m at 1,000 m.

The Housing
A robust magnesium housing securely encompasses the sensitive optics while being very lightweight, which is an important criterion for a hunting binocular that one carries in the field. Minox has always relied on a minimalist design, as seen in the X-Tour 8x26: two linear tubes connected by a narrow bridge with the focusing wheel.
