The optical system
With a light transmission of 90%, the Conquest HDX 15x56 delivers bright and natural images without color fringing and casts even in problematic lighting conditions. This is thanks to the Zeiss T* multi-coating of the lenses and the roof prism. Aspherical lenses and ED glass (Extra-Low-Dispersion) significantly reduce chromatic aberration. The Field-Flattener technology ensures high edge sharpness with detailed results across the entire field of view.

Material and workmanship
The housing of the Conquest HDX 15x56 is made of a magnesium alloy and is 2% lighter than the corresponding model of the HD series. Its full rubber armor provides additional protection; it is waterproof, shockproof, and temperature-resistant. The hydrophobic LouTec coating on the lenses causes moisture to bead off and prevents dirt from sticking. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging. Thus, it remains a reliable instrument in every hunting situation to identify game.

Ergonomics
With prolonged use of binoculars while sitting or stalking, ergonomics becomes an important criterion. The Conquest HDX 15x56 is tactilely pleasant and intuitive to operate, even in cold weather with gloves. Its armor is grippy, and with the precise and smooth focusing wheel, one can go from the close range of 3.5 m to infinity with just 1.3 turns. The diopter is lockable against accidental adjustment, and the eyecups are interchangeable. The Conquest HDX 15x56 features an interface for mounting it on a tripod, which is useful when operating with the 15x magnification for extended periods. A ¼” tripod adapter is included in the delivery.
