The Binoculars
The larger 42 mm objective with its HD lenses ensures a transmission value of 91% in conjunction with the Perger-Porro prisms, providing natural, color-accurate, and high-contrast images. The field of view is 114 m at 1,000 m. The robust rubber-armored magnesium housing effectively protects the high-end technology from shocks and weather influences. All surfaces are coated with proven Leica technologies. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging of the optics. The design and shape of the Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ are optimized for long, fatigue-free observation – even with glasses! – and the operation and menu navigation are intuitively designed.

Distance and Environmental Data
The integrated laser rangefinder in the Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ provides precise data quickly – within a maximum of 3 seconds – in a range of 10-2,950 m with level-corrected accuracy. The invisible laser is eye-safe according to EN and FDA Class 1. But your Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ provides even more precise information. It features sensors to capture environmental data such as air pressure and temperature, as well as for angle measurement. The ballistic calculator and tracking assistant then evaluate this data and enable you to make the perfect shot.

The Ballistic Calculation
The Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ comes pre-installed with Applied Ballistics Elite®. It provides you with accurate values for distances of up to 2,950 m. All ballistic data appears immediately on the display of the Geovid Pro after measurement. Applied Ballistics Elite® utilizes G1/G7 coefficients and a database with up to 740 pre-set ammunition profiles. Applied Ballistics® offers you well-founded solutions for a precise shot.

The Tracking Assistant Function
The Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ also features an integrated compass. In conjunction with the ballistic calculator, geographical positions in the terrain can be determined as GPS coordinates. The last 5 distance measurements are automatically saved for retrieval during target acquisition. The tracking function LPTTM (Leica ProTrack) can display previously designated points on a connected mobile device. This is advantageous for long shots and hunting in mountainous terrain. Navigation is possible with Google Maps or the BaseMap app. This will reliably guide you to the location of the shot.

Data Transfer
The Geovid Pro 10x42 AB+ features a Bluetooth interface. Through this, you can easily transfer your preferred ballistic profile, which you have configured in the Leica Ballistics App 2.0, to your Leica Geovid Pro. You can also connect other components, such as the Kestrel 5700 weather meter, via Bluetooth to the Geovid Pro.
