Multispectral Binocular Merger DUO NXP50
Versatile thermal imaging night vision binocular for use in all weather conditions and at any time of day.
The Merger DUO NXP50 from Pulsar is the latest binocular in the Merger series.
As a multispectral binocular, it is equipped not only with thermal imaging technology but also with night vision capability. The fusion of these two technologies makes
the Duo NXP50 the perfect device for detecting and accurately identifying wildlife.
Merger DUO NXP50 - latest technology
Built like a conventional binocular, but filled with the latest technology, the Merger DUO NXP50 is the perfect companion for hunting or nature observation.
The comfortable, user-friendly handling as well as the fatigue-free observation through equal load on both eyes,
are just a few of the many reasons to choose this binocular.
The sensors - thermal imaging and night vision
As a multispectral binocular for thermal imaging and night vision, the Merger DUO NXP50 features 2 powerful sensors.
Thermal imaging:
The thermal imaging sensor with 640 x 480 pixels, 17µm pixel pitch, and a NETD <25mK, in conjunction with a 50mm lens, produces a very high level of detail.
The display is ultra-sharp thanks to the “Image Boost Technology” on the high-resolution 1024x768 pixel AMOLED display.
The detection range is approximately 1800.
Night vision:
For night vision capability, Pulsar uses a CMOS sensor with 1920 x 1200 pixels and also a 50mm lens.
For better visibility of details in darkness, the Merger DUO features an additional IR illuminator.
This is modularly built and, due to its wavelength of 940nm, is practically invisible to wildlife.
Zoom function - Merger DUO NXP50:
Both thermal imaging and night vision each have their own channel in the binocular and are therefore controlled separately.
This also applies to the zoom function. The thermal imaging channel is equipped with a magnification of 3-24, while the night vision channel has a digital magnification of 2-16.
Battery life:
The Merger DUO NXP50 features a dual battery system, consisting of a built-in and a replaceable battery.
Both batteries can be charged directly in the device or via a separate charging station.
Together, both batteries have a runtime of up to 7h.
The housing of the Merger DUO NXP50 is designed for use even in the harshest conditions and is made of a lightweight yet sturdy magnesium alloy.
This protects the device from hard impacts, heat, and cold, making it practically waterproof.
Network compatibility - Pulsar Merger Duo NXP50:
The integrated memory for your videos and images has a capacity of 64 GB.
With the built-in WiFi module (2.4GHz / 5GHz), you can connect to the Pulsar Stream Vision 2 app on your mobile device and
transfer the recorded footage.
Of course, the Merger DUO NXP50 also features a USB-C connection.
