The material is wind and water-resistant and reinforced at the particularly stressed areas (double-layered at the seat and knees). The comfortable fit with a normal high waist (medium waist height) and pre-shaped knees makes them a great companion for extended hikes or area tours at any time. The six practical pockets provide space for maps, an axe, or other items. Unhemmed leg openings that can be easily adjusted to leg length complete the package.
