The Binoculars
The 42 mm objective lens with its HD lenses ensures a high transmission value and natural, color-true, and high-contrast images in conjunction with its improved prism system. The robust rubber-armored housing effectively protects the high-end technology from shocks and weather influences. All surfaces are coated with proven Leica technologies – HDC® multilayer coating, AquaDura® coating. The binoculars are filled with nitrogen to prevent internal fogging of the optics. The design and shape of the Geovid R 10x42 are optimized for long, fatigue-free observation – even with glasses! – and the operation and menu navigation are intuitively designed.

The Laser Rangefinder
With over 300,000 laser rangefinders sold, Leica is the undisputed market leader in the premium segment. The integrated LRF in the Geovid R 10x42 provides precise data in an extremely short measurement time of 0.3 s over a range of up to 1,800 m. The invisible laser is eye-safe according to EN and FDA Class 1.
