With the SFL 40 (Smart Focus Lightweight), Zeiss introduces its new binocular line, which excels in all areas and often sets new standards. The SFL binoculars impress with extraordinary optical performance while maintaining a compact form and low weight. The new Zeiss SFL 8x40 binoculars weigh only 640 grams. This has been achieved through a reduced objective diameter, the use of thinner and more closely packed lens elements, as well as the robust and durable magnesium housing. Nevertheless, the SFL binoculars have a light transmission of over 90%.

A true-to-nature color reproduction and highest detail recognition is ensured by Zeiss through the Ultra-High-Definition (UHD) Concept in conjunction with the proven Zeiss T*-multi-coating (Zeiss T* Coating). With a field of view of up to 140 m at a distance of 1000 m and a close focus limit of 1.5 m, the SFL 8x40 delivers precise details with maximum overview.

Not only the technical details make the Zeiss SFL 8x40 shine, but it also impresses with its ergonomically thought-out Smart Focus Concept. The focusing wheel is perfectly positioned and allows for quick and precise focusing in any weather condition and with any clothing. The entire concept is rounded off by the large exit pupils, which ensure a relaxed viewing experience.

The Zeiss SFL 8x40 is further enhanced by the proprietary Zeiss LotuTec coating and nitrogen filling. The lens coating allows for unrestricted clear visibility in any weather condition.
