The materials used are responsible for breathability and provide protection against moisture and wind through a windproof and waterproof membrane combined with sealed seams. The waxed surface adds to the moisture protection. Additionally, the pants protect against mosquito and the more dangerous mosquito bites, and they have been equipped with an extra sun protection factor against harmful UVA and UVB rays. Extra reinforcements make the pants particularly durable.

For maximum comfort and flexibility, a 4-way stretch material has been used. The durable pants also feature a technical cut with pre-shaped knee and seat areas. This offers excellent freedom of movement with a good fit. To optimize the fit, integrated hooks can secure the adjustable pant legs to the shoes. Another advantage is the adjustable leg ends, allowing for ideal footwear selection according to the season. The waist can also be individually adjusted for a comfortable fit using a Velcro closure. At warmer temperatures or during high exertion, ventilation zippers can be opened on both sides of the pants.
