More than an Adapter
The TLS APO adapters for ATX/STX are more than just simple digiscoping adapters. Inside these adapters lies a precisely tuned apochromat that makes them true digiscoping lenses – specially designed to capture breathtaking photographs through a spotting scope.

Thanks to the intelligent design of the TLS adapters, one can effortlessly switch between observation and photography or video recording. Simply attached to the eyepiece module of the ATX/STX spotting scopes and secured with a small hand movement, a stable and tilt-proof unit is created. This makes it almost child’s play to capture moving animals or flying birds – with a little practice, photography becomes a breeze. The uncomplicated removal of the camera and TLS adapter allows for seamless continuation of observation through the spotting scope.

Universal for All Systems
The TLS adapters are nearly universal for all cameras with interchangeable lenses. A T2 adapter is required, which can be provided by the camera manufacturer or third-party suppliers. When using T2 adapters, automatic adjustment of parameters such as focus or aperture or program automatics is not available. Manual focusing and zooming on the spotting scope becomes necessary. Exposure time and ISO can still be controlled by the camera, but it is recommended to set these parameters manually. Some cameras are factory programmed to only trigger photos with manufacturer lenses. In such cases, simply select the corresponding function in the camera menu to trigger with lenses from third-party manufacturers.
