The Balaclava Cap Lappland from Fjällräven is made of durable, non-itchy merino wool. This allows the hat to wick moisture very well while still providing good insulation even when damp.

The hat is versatile. The lower part can be folded up, allowing it to be worn as a regular head covering. However, in cold weather, the balaclava part can simply be pulled down, providing protection for the cheeks and chin against harsh weather. Additionally, integrated reflective strips in the cap ensure high visibility. A small Fjällräven logo made of leather is attached to the brim.

The wool used in production is completely traceable by the manufacturer. This means that the entire supply chain is tracked back to the farm to ensure that all ethical standards are met. The wool is ZQ certified and is independently reviewed every 3 years. This certification imposes various requirements in the areas of animal welfare, environmental impact, social and economic sustainability, and fiber quality.
