The gray laminated stock ensures an optimal, consistent hold and, in conjunction with the fully adjustable M.O.A.™ direct trigger, provides the best possible conditions for a perfect shot group. The barrel of this XPR™, available in calibers .223 Rem, .243Win, .308Win, and .30-06Spring, offers excellent ballistic performance and allows for the easy attachment of a suppressor or muzzle brake through the M14x1 muzzle thread. The recoil-absorbing Inflex™ butt pad rounds off Winchester's XPR Thumbhole as an optimal companion for hunting.

Laminated Stock
The distinctive grip allows for a relaxed hold in a natural position when combined with the steeper pistol grip. Additionally, the thumbhole ensures a repeatable hold, as the shooter's thumb joint remains in a consistent position. The laminated wood and grip surfaces on the fore-end of the XPR Thumbhole ensure outstanding shape stability and handling under all weather and temperature conditions. The entire stock is complemented by the Inflex™ butt pad, which, due to its structural design and highly elastic material, effectively directs recoil energy downward. This technology significantly reduces muzzle rise and maximizes weapon control.

M.O.A.™ Trigger
The M.O.A.™ trigger from Winchester is a fully adjustable direct trigger. The sophisticated mechanism of the trigger group minimizes the negative factors of trigger pull time and take-up. Furthermore, the perception of creep and overtravel is practically eliminated, as the M.O.A. trigger system excels with its technical finesse. The "feel" for the trigger is greatly improved, thereby significantly enhancing effective accuracy.

The technical advantages of the system are rounded off by the trigger piece, which, with its wide, smooth surface, ensures optimal distribution of finger pressure and provides a light, sensitive feel.

Action
The proven 3-lug cylinder action, as well as the nickel-Teflon-coated chamber, impress in terms of reliability and durability. A projection of the firing pin nut indicates the cocked state of the repeating rifle through a prominent red dot, while the closed system is optimally protected from dust. The angled chamber handle is ergonomically positioned at the height of the trigger. The sliding safety additionally blocks the chamber in the secured position, achieving maximum safety. Here too, Winchester impresses with technical finesse, as it is possible to unload the long gun via a release button despite these safety standards.
