The Winchester SXP Waterfowl is one of the fastest pump-action shotguns in the world.
The gunsmith Winchester has over half a century of experience in the development and manufacturing of pump-action shotguns. The Super-X-Pump was developed based on this knowledge and shines as a technologically advanced shotgun with eminently practical features. With its back-bored barrels (71 cm or 76 cm), the three Invector Plus™ chokes, the TruGlo™ sight with a long front bead, and the Inflex II™ stock cap technology for recoil reduction, the SXP Waterfowl stands out as a reliable hunting companion. Technologically, the pump-action shotgun impresses with its spring-loaded bolt, allowing speeds that even world champions would admire. The camouflage pattern of the SXP Waterfowl is the result of 30 years of experience and a multitude of photographs. It perfectly dissolves the contours of the pump shotgun and minimizes the risk of spooking waterfowl due to unexpected reflections.

Receiver and Bolt
The system is machined from high-strength aluminum and is also adorned with the camouflage pattern Mossy Oak Shadow Grass Blades™ on the stock. All stresses during shooting are absorbed by the four massive rotating locking lugs. These provide support, strength, and a stable lock in the barrel. During recoil, the body weight dampens the backward thrust of the shotgun, while the inertia of the bolt, barrel rail, and forearm continues the loading motion to quickly eject the fired cartridge. Robust double guide rails made of steel prevent misalignment and jamming, which can cost valuable time and energy during the loading process. Additionally, the bolt and other moving parts are black hard-chromed to reduce friction and ensure smoother operation. The dual-action rods and the spring-loaded bolt head ensure that the bolt partially self-unlocks to allow for a faster cycling process. This technical process enables the shooter to achieve shooting speeds that are unmatched.

Trigger and Safety
The large push button for safety is located on the trigger guard in front of the trigger on the SXP Waterfowl from Winchester and is disengaged by pressing it with the trigger finger. A red outline, visible only when in the disengaged state, provides an additional visual signal. The ergonomic alignment of the safety button allows the shooter to develop an automatic response in no time, as the positioning is in a natural position, making the disengagement of the firearm instinctive after a short time. The trigger blade is pleasantly large, ensuring that even with winter clothing, the necessary tactile feedback is achieved. The trigger group can be easily removed for cleaning and inspection by pulling out a single pin.

Barrel
The SXP Waterfowl from Winchester uses the well-known Invector-Plus™ choke tubes from Winchester/Browning, allowing the user to quickly adapt to the respective shooting situation. The barrel is manufactured with a length of 71 cm or 76 cm. It is equipped with a 6 mm wide ventilated sight rail that carries a front bead. The top of the rail is finely guilloched. The barrel and chamber are hard-chromed on the inside, providing optimal rust protection. A special highlight is the back-bored barrel technology. The shotgun barrel slightly tapers from back to front, resulting in a smoother transition at the choke. This measurably increases shot speed, significantly reduces recoil, and greatly improves coverage.

Forearm and Magazine
The forearm of the SXP is comfortably designed due to its ergonomic shape. Additional rubber inserts increase grip, even in adverse weather conditions. With its slim design, the shooter's hand is very close to the sight line, promising exceptional maneuverability. The forearm glides without obstacles, allowing the shooter to handle shot release and cycling in one fluid motion. The internal tube magazine holds 2+1 (fixed) shots or 5+1 shots, depending on the variant.

Inflex II™
The buttstock of the SXP Waterfowl from Winchester is equipped with the Inflex II™ system, which dampens perceived recoil. The construction of the shotgun, combined with the Inflex II spacers, which can be attached individually or as a group, directs the energy of the recoil downward. This also minimizes the upward movement of the semi-automatic shotgun. The Inflex II spacers are made of recoil-absorbing synthetic material and are available in various thicknesses.

MOSSY OAK Shadow Grass Blades™ (MOSGB)
30 years of experience and a multitude of photographs of water edges and flooded fields culminate in this camouflage pattern. The perfect grass pattern shows each individual blade of grass in a natural position with overlapping shadows arranged on a straw background. The straw background, with its small grasses transitioning from light to dark spots, creates the perfect depth and distance to the larger blades, giving the shadow grass blades a realistic 3D appearance and excellently dissolving the contours of a hunter.
