With 88% light transmission, it is a good instrument for use during twilight hunting.

The "ED" in the name of this binocular series stands for "Extra-Low-Dispersion." This refers to a fluorine-rich glass melt from which lenses are made that effectively compensate for chromatic aberration. Chromatic aberration refers to color errors that occur due to the different refraction of the color components of light and are visible as color fringes along edges. With its ED lenses, the Terra binoculars deliver exceptionally high-contrast, detailed, color-accurate, and three-dimensional images.

The Terra ED Pocket 10x25 is waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. Its housing is reinforced with fiberglass, which effectively protects the sensitive optics. The large, grippy, well-damped focusing wheel allows for quick focusing, and the ergonomic design lets the index finger rest naturally on the focusing wheel. The Terra 10x25 ED has a field of view of 97 m at 1,000 m.
