The Zeiss Terra ED 10x42 binoculars are robust, reliable, and user-friendly. Its slim design makes it pleasant to hold and reduces its weight. The precise optics and water-repellent multi-coating of the lenses provide brilliant, high-contrast, and detailed images, even in rainy weather. With 88% light transmission, it is a good instrument for use in hunting at dusk, especially in open areas with its 10x magnification.

The "ED" in the name of this binocular series stands for "Extra-Low-Dispersion." This refers to a fluorine-rich glass melt from which lenses are made that effectively compensate for chromatic aberration. Chromatic aberration refers to color errors that occur due to the different refraction of the color components of light and are visible as color fringes along edges. With its ED lenses, the Terra binoculars deliver exceptionally high-contrast, detailed, color-accurate, and three-dimensional images.

The Terra ED 10x42 is waterproof and nitrogen-filled to prevent internal fogging. Its housing is reinforced with fiberglass, effectively protecting the sensitive optics. The large, grippy, well-damped focusing wheel allows for quick focusing, and the ergonomic design lets the index finger rest naturally on the focusing wheel. The Terra 10x42 ED has a field of view of 110 m at 1,000 m.
