The brass adapter with 2.5 mm internal thread is screwed onto the cleaning rod to hold the cleaning felt.
Even with repeated back-and-forth movement of the cleaning rod inside the barrel, the felt cleaner remains securely and firmly on the receiving thread. This ensures that the felt cleaner does not loosen during cleaning and potentially clog the barrel.
The VFG adapter is suitable for all firearms with a caliber of 4 - 4.5 mm, as well as for indoor rifles.
