Scherell's SCHAFTOL quality shaft oil has been a proven quality product for over 75 years and effectively and permanently protects the gun stock against all environmental influences.
The oil made from pure natural products reliably repels moisture, prevents the stock from becoming rough and stained, and gives it a beautiful matte sheen, making the grain stand out more clearly. Additionally, it protects against rot and mold. Besides maintenance, Scherell's shaft oil is also suitable for refurbishing old and brittle wooden stocks, which is why it can naturally be used for the care and preservation of other fine woods, such as furniture or antiques.

For maintenance needs, lightly soak a linen care cloth with the shaft oil and vigorously rub the respective wood with it. Then let it absorb in peace. For maximum effect, the treatment should be repeated the following day.

The different shades of Scherell's shaft oils can be mixed together so that you can achieve the perfect color tone for each wood. The color reddish-brown is perfect for stocks with a reddish-brown hue.
